Holdens of Newark is one of the longest established businesses in Newark today. We are also one of the few surviving family owned and run businesses in the town.
As an independent furniture company we celebrated our 70th anniversary in 2007 and over those seventy plus years seven members of the Holden Family have been involved in the running of the store.
For the last twenty two years Jonathan and Marion Holden have run the store, heading up a team of highly knowledgeable directors and sales staff, ably supported by caring and conscientious warehouse, delivery and fitting staff.
With over 14,000 square feet of retail space in the centre of Newark, stretching right through from Castlegate to Middlegate, Holdens own and occupy what is one of the three largest retail units in Newark town centre.
